Attractions

 

The calm and narrow lanes of both towns, Cha Am and Hua Hin gives an atmosphere of peace and tastefulness to the place. You'll find places like this in Europe, but only in the traditional exclusive bathing resorts of the Riviera and the Cote D `Azure. However, here in Thailand this is quite unique.

 

                      

 

The standing Buddha, which has a size of over 12 meters high, is only one of the attractions.

Cha Am / Hua Hin is sophisticated but not snooty. The Thai people show no arrogance towards foreigners. The people make a living entirely from small trade, handicraft and fishing. There are typical Thai markets, for example Chatchai market, where housewives buy their daily goods. There is also a fishing fleet which runs out each evening in order to catch fresh seafood.
